Weihnachtsmarkt zu erwähnen. Kleiner als der Ulmer Weihnachtsmarkt aber total viel kunsthandwerkliche Sachen und natürlich die ungarischen Küche (ich sag nur Kürtösscalas).... total lecker!!! Die Metropole an sich ist sehr auf amerikanischen Standard aufgebaut und steht auch den Modelabeln nichts nach. Man bekommt alles vier- bis fünfach alles größer präsentiert. Das Einkaufszentrum im Westbahnhof war mega großßßßß und man bekam alles geboten. Und erst die Kneipen, die sind ja mal knuffig. Allen voran der "For Sale" Pub. Dort bekommt man riesige Portionen zu Essen und Körbe voller Erdnüsse (die Schalen werden einfach auf den Boden geworfen). Dementsprechend schaut es dort aus.... auf dem Boden nur Erdnussschalen und an der Decke tausende von Visitenkarten... und bei geiler LiveMusik ist das echt ein klasse Ambiente. Die Sightseeing Tour durch die beiden Stadthälften (Buda und Pest) waren sehr interessant. In der größten Markthalle von Pest bekam man alles was frisch war .... Gemüse, Fleisch , ungarische Gerichte, Glüüühhhhweinn... mmmhhhh.... Ein Besuch in einen alten Thermalbad von Budapest war auch Pflicht.
